In this process, the skeletonization of the intestinal wall on the small intestine should be less than 1.5 cm and on the large intestine at most 0.5-1 cm. Attention should always be paid to a healthy gray-reddish tissue color of the intestine, bleeding wound edges, and palpable or visible pulses of the arteries located in the intestinal segment to be sutured.
