Bowel Suture Step 1A – Double-Row Suture – Posterior Wall
Soundsettings A so-called non-everting technique is used here.
This consists of a double-row full-thickness suture, with the posterior wall being worked on first. Suture material is PDS 5-0.First, a continuous seromuscular suture is started. In doing so, the two posterior walls are approximated.
For better orientation in the next steps, the suture ends remain as stay sutures.
Now, the jejunum is opened on both sides of the previously placed suture using the electrocautery.T
