The radiopalmar wrist ganglion represents a protrusion of the synovial membrane of the palmar wrist capsule filled with synovial fluid. It arises at soft spots usually between the proximal and distal V-ligament, perforates the deep forearm fascia and is in close proximity to the radial artery with its branches.
