Postoperative complications
- Wound healing disorder, open wound, rinse, dress.
- Postoperative ileus, paralytic: conservative ileus therapy, mechanical (adhesion): revision.
- Infection, antibiotic therapy,
- Intra-abdominal abscess, necessity of revision or percutaneous drainage.
- Rebleeding/hematoma formation, revision surgery necessary in most cases.
- Subcutaneous emphysema, usually resolves on its own.
- Post-laparoscopic shoulder pain syndrome, pain management
- Leg/pelvic vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, anticoagulation
